Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment.
• Adhere to Silgan safety policies to prevent injuries.
• Monitor ware for quality defects and inform operator/coordinator.
• Pack at standard rate on assigned line(s).
• Operate a punch and load conveyors/flamers as needed.
• Keep work area clean and assist with scrap removal and grinding.
• Initial and date box labels and prepare unit tickets.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Ability to lift 30–40 lb materials.
