Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing seeks a travel ER RN for a 14-week assignment in Boston, MA. The position requires 1 year of ER experience, current RN license, and active BLS/ACLS/PALS or ENPC certifications.

You will work 12-hour evening shifts, 48 hours per week, in a fast-paced ED setting. Ideal candidates are flexible, able to triage quickly, and capable of collaborating with physicians, techs, and support staff to deliver high-quality patient care while meeting regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• One year of ER RN experience.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC certification.

Responsibilities

• Rapidly assess and triage patients upon arrival and prioritize care based on severity.
• Explain emergency procedures to patients and families.
• Administer medications and treatments per emergency protocols.
• Prepare equipment and assist physicians during emergencies.
• Monitor patient safety and comfort and document assessments.
• Document nursing assessments and outcomes in EMR.
