Job summary

Public Outreach Consultancy Inc in the Boston area is hiring outgoing, passionate people to join our fundraising team. This is face-to-face fundraising where you'll start conversations about causes and encourage people to become monthly donors.

No fundraising experience is required—we'll train you. You’ll work with a team in public spaces throughout Boston, receive coaching from experienced leaders, and have the opportunity for full-time or part-time roles with paid training, benefits after 3

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
• Able to reliably commute to work locations throughout the Boston area.
• Comfortable working outdoors and being physically active during shifts.
• Able to communicate confidently in English.
• Willing to receive coaching and work toward fundraising goals.

Responsibilities

• Face-to-face fundraising with the public.
• Engage people and inspire monthly donations.
• Explain how nonprofit organizations respond to humanitarian issues.
• Share stories of communities affected by conflict, disaster, poverty, and inequality.
• Work toward individual and team fundraising goals.
• Receive coaching from experienced leaders.
