Job description

Job Description

At the LEGO Group, every single person is united behind our mission to inspire and develop the builders of tomorrow. Be part of a community where you are developing and continuously improving our facilities and overall future workplace experience.

Core Responsibilities

At The LEGO Group, we always place the end-user, in this case, our employees, at the forefront. In our hubs we seek to deliver engaging workplace experiences that contribute to an outstanding work-environment, high productivity, and phenomenal employee wellbeing. In order to achieve these aspirations, we are looking for an engaging ‘social engineer’: a facility partner with excellent people skills who can drive the daily facilities/operations of the hub, and at the same time take a lead in crafting a phenomenal sense of community and fostering the LEGO culture. You will work in an exciting environment and join a diverse team of hub hosts and other facilities related team members.

The Hub Host we are looking for is a proactive and energetic member of our Workplace Experience team who cultivates an engaging in-office experience for our clients and our employees by supporting various functions within the office, having a positive and helpful approach, proactively offering people assistance with new office tools, guiding space bookings and space management within the various neighborhoods, resetting workspaces, and supporting / planning engaging in-office events for our employees. Hub Hosts may also be asked to volunteer for and support more broad work activities including those that are held at a location/office level including office events, client events and other volunteer activities.

  • Be the welcome face of LEGO by role modeling the culture and values

  • Make sure that our workplace facilities are always outstanding and in perfect condition

  • Help drive a positive and engaging environment in the hub by injecting energy, fun and vibrancy through communication and activities

  • Be part of a team of hub hosts in a pro-active, motivating and engaging way

  • Create an engaging and vibrant sense of community (online and events etc.)

  • Collaborator and communication management on operational and senior level to ensure solutions are found that benefit both the employees and the organization as a whole

  • Actively create close collaboration and cross-functionalization with Boston hub community volunteers for engagement activities.

  • Ensure daily smooth running of the hub through proactive organization and forward planning, as well as trouble shooting quickly if issues arise

  • Be service minded towards our employees and visitors

  • Work on the continuous improvement of our workplace experience

  • General MS office toolbox

  • Hands-on problem-solving skills considering the interests of all collaborators and having a clear vision for future corporate progress

  • Service oriented

  • Self-motivated, independent, pro-active and goal-oriented
