Job summary

Rapport International is seeking qualified in-person interpreters to serve Nebraska clients, with a focus on Bosnian language support in the Lincoln area. This is a PRN, part-time contractor role requiring transportation to local appointments.

Candidates should be fully bilingual, comfortable with medical terminology, able to maintain HIPAA-level confidentiality, and able to use our online portal and printing tools. Vaccination proof or exemption documentation may be requested.

Qualifications

• Must be fully bilingual with strong listening and communication skills.
• Familiarity with medical terminology preferred.
• Must have transportation to attend local Lincoln appointments.
• Background checks and drug screens required.
• Some availability Mon-Fri 7AM–5PM; PRN and flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person interpretation for Nebraska clients.
• Maintain strict confidentiality on all interpreted information.
• Use and learn the online portal; print/upload vouchers as needed.
• Interact with medical facilities and staff during appointments.
• Possess own printer/access to printing when required.

As a busy interpreting service provider, we are seeking to onboard hard-working, fully-bilingual foreign language interpreters to provide in-person interpretation for our local Nebraska clients. We have an immediate need for Bosnian interpreters in the Lincoln, NE area.

Requirements:

• Fully bilingual
• Excellent communication and listening skills
• Familiarity with medical terminology
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality/ HIPPA compliance
• We are looking for IN PERSON interpreters only, you must have transportation to attend appointments locally
• Technical skills for learning/using online portal (printing and uploading vouchers required)
• Must have access to a printer
• Interpreting experience and/or certification preferred
• Background checks and drug screens required
• Schedule is PRN (as needed), part time (or less depending on languages spoken) and is flexible based on interpreter's availability and preferences. However, applicants must have some availability M-F 7AM-5PM as this is when services are typically needed.
