Job summary

Rapport International is seeking qualified interpreters for in-person interpretation in the Lincoln, Nebraska area. We need bilingual professionals ready to support local clients and assist non-English speakers with confidentiality and accuracy.

A vaccination proof or exemption documentation will be required prior to interview, with scheduling flexibly based on availability. Must have transportation to attend appointments, access to a printer, and comfort using an online portal for vouchers.

Qualifications

• Fully bilingual and able to interpret accurately across languages.

Requirements

• Fully bilingual
• Excellent communication and listening skills
• Familiarity with medical terminology
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality/ HIPPA compliance
• We are looking for IN PERSON interpreters only, you must have transportation to attend appointments locally
• Technical skills for learning/using online portal (printing and uploading vouchers required)
• Must have access to a printer
• Interpreting experience and/or certification preferred
• Background checks and drug screens required
• Schedule is PRN (as needed), part time (or less depending on languages spoken) and is flexible based on interpreter's availability and preferences. However, applicants must have some availability M-F 7AM-5PM as this is when services are typically needed.
