Job summary

ProcDNA in Boston is seeking a Sr Engagement Lead - Technology with strong pharma industry knowledge to drive data-driven decisions for our clients. Lead end-to-end data management projects, oversee data integration, and craft compelling visualizations using Tableau and Power BI.

Collaborate with data platform teams, ensure governance and security, and translate complex business needs into pragmatic analytics solutions.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of pharma technology consulting experience.
• Direct client interaction experience and stakeholder management.
• Proven ability to design enterprise data warehouse solutions from scratch.
• Hands-on with ETL tools: ADF, Databricks, Informatica.
• Familiarity with data pipelines and workflow tools (Azkaban/Luigi/Airflow).
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL and data storage (Redshift/Snowflake/Hive/HDFS).
• BI dashboard implementation with Tableau and Power BI.
• Strong governance and data quality understanding.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

What we are looking for

We are seeking a Sr Engagement Lead - Technology to join our team. You are someone with a strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, in-depth knowledge of datasets like LAAD, DDD, XPO, and enjoying working with complex data sets to help clients solve real-world problems. You will play a key role in driving business performance, navigating risks, and developing pragmatic strategies through data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities

1. End-to-End Data Management Solutions: Lead end-to-end data management solution projects for multiple clients across data engineering and BI technologies. Ensure the timely delivery of projects by creating project management plans and ensuring adherence to timelines.


2. Data Integration and Visualization: Integrate multiple data sources into one comprehensive visualization to tell a compelling story. Collaborate with Data Platform leaders to understand data flows that integrate into Tableau/analytics.


3. Client Interaction and Analytics Solutions: Interact with customers to understand their business problems and deliver best-in-class analytic solutions. Engage with UX/UI global functions to design best-in-class visualizations for customers using all product capabilities.


4. Data Governance and Security: Understand data governance, quality, and security frameworks and ensure seamless integration of analytics with these enterprise platforms.


5. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various internal teams to ensure seamless integration and alignment between technical solutions and business goals.

Must Have

• 8-10 years of experience in pharma technology consulting, with at least 6 years in the U.S.


• Direct experience in client interactions, discussing requirements, and managing stakeholders.


• Proven experience in requirement gathering and designing enterprise data warehouse solutions from scratch.


• Hands-on experience with ETL tools like Azure Data Factory (ADF), Databricks, and Informatica.


• Familiarity with data pipeline and workflow management tools such as Azkaban, Luigi, or Airflow.


• Experience with data storage solutions, including SQL/NoSQL, Amazon Redshift, Snowflake, ApacheHive, and HDFS.


• Expertise in BI tools and experience leading the implementation of dashboards, particularly with Tableau and Power BI.


• Deep understanding of data governance and data quality management frameworks.


• Strong communication and presentation skills.


• Excellent problem-solving attitude with strong analytical and debugging skills.


• Ability to quickly learn and understand business processes to develop effective technical solutions.
