SUMMARY

The Balance of State Continuum of Care (BoS CoC) Data Analyst is responsible for coordinating the collection and management of CoC data for HUD-mandated reporting. This position assists the Program Manager and team in the use of data to inform CoC activities and system performance. The CoC Data Analyst will facilitate coordination among the HMIS data team, system performance monitoring, and programmatic team to ensure the collection, quality, and use of data are aligned to benefit the CoC and its partners. This position will take the lead on the Point-in-Time Count, Housing Inventory Count, Longitudinal System Analysis, and System Performance Measures to ensure timely, quality submission of these and all related reporting. Duties associated with this position may fluctuate depending on the needs of the continuum.

MINIMUM ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree AND at least two years of experience with homeless services programs
• Must be able to competently use the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
• Experience in data entry, cleaning, reporting, analysis
• Experience in project management and planning

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Preference will be given to applicants who in addition to meeting the agency specific minimum qualifications possess the following:

• Experience with using the ClientTrack Homeless Management Information System
• Knowledge of Housing and Urban Development reporting and reporting standards
• Experience with writing queries, SQL, and relational databases
• Strong experience with data tools and visualizations such as Excel, Power BI, Tableau, and/or R
• Experience with HUD CoC, ESG, and/or other federal funding programs
• Demonstrated experience with project
