Job summary

Monzo is seeking a Borrowing Writer for a 12‑month fixed term. The role sits in the Writing discipline within the Marketing team and focuses on high‑quality, clear writing for loans, credit cards and related products. London-based or remote within the UK, with a hybrid working arrangement.

You’ll contribute to the overall quality of Monzo’s writing, collaborating with engineers, designers, researchers and marketers to ensure customer-facing content is accurate, empathetic and easy to understand.

Qualifications

• Experience in content design for digital products and UX writing.
• Ability to translate complex financial concepts into simple language.
• Strong collaboration with product, design and research teams.
• Data-informed approach to writing and experimentation.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product Designer on in-app screens.
• Collaborate with Product Marketer on messaging toolkits for web, growth marketing or CRM.
• Participate in user research sessions led by the Research team.
• Write error messages with input from engineers.
• Edit legal wording with in-house lawyers.
