Job summary

Monzo is seeking a Borrowing Writer to support loans, credit cards, overdrafts and related projects. You will work with engineers, designers, marketers and researchers to craft clear, empathetic copy across borrowing products, ensuring tone aligns with Monzo's standards.

You will contribute to the Writing discipline and help teams improve writing quality across the business. This role supports the Borrowing collective and is based in the UK with hybrid work options.

Qualifications

• Understand borrowing and credit products.
• Proficient in content design, UX writing and product writing.
• Avoid jargon and over-complicated language.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product designer on in-app screens.
• Collaborate with product marketer on messaging toolkits for web, growth marketing, or CRM.
• Attend user research sessions led by the Research team.
• Write error messages with input from engineers.
• Edit legal wording with in-house lawyers.
