Job summary

Express Employment is seeking a Boring Mill Operator to join our client’s team in Milan. This full-time position offers a pay rate of $25.00–$35.00 per hour, with standard weekday hours 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM.

The role requires experience operating Mazak Boring Mills, reading blueprints, and strong G-Code abilities. Join us to contribute to high-quality, small-batch production while maintaining safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Previous Boring Mill machining experience required.
• Strong understanding and hands-on experience with G-Code programming.
• Experience operating Mazak equipment preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Set up, change axis and operate Mazak Boring Mill machines.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings.
• Utilize G-Code knowledge to troubleshoot, edit, and run machining programs.
• Produce high-quality parts in a small-batch manufacturing environment.
• Monitor machine performance and verify product quality throughout production.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and keep work areas clean and organized.
• Meet production goals while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience programming with Mastercam or similar CAD/CAM software.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
• Ability to quickly learn company‑specific processes and procedures
