Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. (PCC) is seeking a Borescope Inspector finisher for our Reynolds, OH facility to inspect cores, identify defects, and perform precise rework on turbine components and related castings.

The role requires ensuring quality and adherence to safety standards while supporting efficient production. The successful candidate will perform borescope inspections, coordinate with the quality team, and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Preferred experience with borescope devices and excess metal defect removal inside of cored metal castings.
• Ability to identify defects and perform delicate rework using fine tools.
• Must follow established safety and quality procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform borescope inspection of the cores of all assigned products/castings.
• Identify defects and perform delicate rework using fine tools.
• Execute and manage rework procedures on identified defects.
• Communicate and coordinate with quality department and leadership on identified issues/trends.
• Perform visual inspection to ensure quality is delivered to our customers.
• Pass inspection/audits in accordance with customer specifications and company procedures.
• May perform other duties as specified by the supervisor.
