Precision Castparts Corp. is seeking a Borescope Inspector finisher to perform borescope inspection of turbine components and related castings, identify defects, and perform precise rework using fine tools.

The role requires adherence to safety and quality procedures and close collaboration with the quality team. The position emphasizes accurate daily records, timely communication of trends, and passing inspections per customer specs.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred, may be substituted by experience.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience with borescope devices and excess metal defect removal is preferred.

Responsabilités

Perform borescope inspection of the cores of all assigned products/castings.
Identify defects and perform delicate rework using fine tools.
Execute and manage rework procedures on identified defects.
Communicate and coordinate with quality department and leadership on identified issues/trends.
Perform visual inspection to ensure quality is delivered to customers.
Pass inspection/audits in accordance with customer specifications and procedures.
May perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Record daily all work performed and correct distribution of work time by operational codes.
