Job summary

Qualifications

• GS-7 requires 1 year specialized experience at next lower grade; or education substitution with bachelor's degree plus superior academic achievement or graduate education.
• GS-9 requires 1 year specialized experience at next lower grade or master's (or higher) degree, or two years of graduate study.

Responsibilities

• Enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture law and regulations.
• Enforcing the flow of legitimate trade and travel.
• Conducting inspections of individuals and conveyances.
• Determining admissibility for entry into the United States; preventing illegal entry and contraband.
