Job summary

Customs and Border Protection is hiring CBPOs to protect U.S. borders with entry-level to mid-career opportunities. Positions include GS-5 to GS-9, with clear paths to higher grades and substantial federal benefits.

Selected officers will enforce customs, immigration, and agriculture laws, conduct inspections, determine admissibility, and help safeguard national security while earning competitive base pay and opportunities for overtime pay and retirement benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience meeting and dealing with people in fast-paced environments.
• Ability to apply a body of facts and make proper determinations.
• Knowledge of CBP procedures and U.S. border operations preferred.
