Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is recruiting for CBPOs across multiple duty locations in the United States. The roles are full-time, entry to mid-level positions with education or experience in public safety or law enforcement preferred.

Qualifications

• GS-5: A minimum of 3 years general experience or a bachelor's degree or equivalent
• GS-7: 1 year specialized experience or equivalent
• GS-9: 1 year specialized experience or equivalent with higher education substitutions.

Responsibilities

• Enforce customs, immigration, and agriculture laws and regulations.
• Inspect individuals and conveyances.
• Determine admissibility for entry into the United States.
• Prevent illegal entry and smuggling of contraband.
