U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) seeks Border Patrol Agents to secure the nation’s borders, enforce immigration and federal laws, and support public safety. Positions span Northern and Southern borders with remote and rural duty locations. Training is six months at the Border Patrol Academy in Artesia, NM.

Ideal candidates possess strong judgment, leadership, and the ability to work under pressure, with readiness to relocate to duty locations and participate in ongoing training.

Qualifications

• General work experience in decision making, situational awareness, and information gathering.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education.
• Combined college coursework and work experience acceptable.

Responsabilités

• Patrol border areas to deter illegal entry.
• Identify and apprehend individuals violating laws.
• Conduct surveillance, inspections, and examinations.
• Gather information through observation and questioning.
• Report and document enforcement activity.
