U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is seeking Border Patrol Agents to secure the nation’s borders, enforce federal laws, and support public safety. Multiple duty locations along the Northern and Southern borders are available, with requirements including U.S. citizenship and residency rules.

New agents undergo six months of paid training at the Border Patrol Academy in Artesia, New Mexico, with potential incentives and relocation opportunities depending on location and program requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Residency requirements and veteran's preference may apply.
• Age under 40 at appointment, with possible exceptions.
• Education/experience requirements per CBP qualification paths.

Responsabilités

• Patrol border areas to detect and prevent illegal entry.
• Identify and apprehend individuals violating immigration laws.
• Conduct surveillance, questioning, inspections, and reports.
• Coordinate with federal, state, local, tribal and international agencies.
