Qualifications

• GL‑9: One year of specialized experience performing duties such as searches and apprehension.
• GS‑11: One year of specialized experience in law enforcement, investigations, and arrests.

Responsibilities

• Detecting and questioning people suspected of violating immigration and customs laws.
• Preventing and apprehending aliens and smugglers at or near the borders.
• Interpreting tracks and evidence of illegal entry or contraband.
• Performing checks and patrols across various locations and assets.
• Patrolling international boundaries and waterways using government assets.
