U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) seeks Border Patrol Agents (BPA) to join a large federal law enforcement workforce. The USPS is urgently hiring for full‑time entry and mid‑level positions where education or related public safety experience may qualify.

The role offers competitive base pay, extensive federal benefits, and retention incentives. Assignments include border patrol duties, inspections, and enforcement activities across many duty locations.

Qualificações

• One year of general work experience demonstrating the ability to take charge and make sound decisions in stressful situations.
• Bachelor’s degree or successful completion of a full four-year course of study in any field leading to a bachelor’s degree; OR
• A combination of experience and education submitted with the application.

Responsabilidades

• Detecting and questioning people suspected of violating immigration and customs laws.
• Inspecting documents to determine citizenship or violations.
• Preventing and apprehending undocumented noncitizens and smugglers near borders.
• PATrolling the international boundary and coastal waterways using government assets.
• Performing checks across farms, buildings, traffic, city patrols, and transportation.
