Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Detect and question individuals about immigration and customs violations and inspect documents.
• Prevent and apprehend undocumented noncitizens and smugglers at or near borders using various surveillance methods.
• Interpret tracks and evidence of illegal entry or contraband.
• Perform checks of farms, buildings, traffic, city areas, and transportation.
• Patrol international boundaries and coastal waterways using government assets.
