Qualifications

• One year of general work experience showing the ability to take charge and make sound decisions.
• A bachelor's degree or complete four-year course of study from an accredited college or university.
• Combination of general work experience AND college education. This will be calculated using your resume and transcripts.

Responsibilities

• Detect individuals suspected of violating immigration and customs laws and inspect documents.
• Prevent and apprehend undocumented noncitizens and smugglers near borders using surveillance and patrol methods.
• Interpret tracks, marks, and evidence of illegal entry.
• Perform farm, building, traffic, city, and transportation checks.
• Patrol the international boundary and coastal waterways using government assets.
