Customs and Border Protection is seeking Border Patrol Agents (BPA) to join a federal law enforcement team protecting the United States from border threats. The role encompasses inspections, questioning, and patrol duties across varied duties and locations, with competitive base pay and extensive benefits.

Recruitment incentives up to $20,000 and retention incentives up to $30,000 may be offered, with assignments across multiple duty stations.

Competenze

• One year of general work experience demonstrating ability to take charge and make sound decisions in stressful situations.
• Bachelor's degree or completion of a full four-year course of study from an accredited college or university.
• Combination of general work experience and college education submitted with your application.

Mansioni

• Detect and question individuals suspected of immigration or customs violations and inspect documents to determine citizenship or violations.
• Prevent and apprehend undocumented noncitizens and smugglers near borders using surveillance and field operations.
• Interpret tracks, marks, and physical evidence of illegal entry or contraband.
• Perform checks (farm, building, traffic, city, transportation) and patrol assigned areas.
• Patrol international boundaries and coastal waterways using government assets to fulfill CBP mission.
