Job summary

Customs and Border Protection is seeking Border Patrol Agents (BPA) to join a premier federal law enforcement team. You will perform duties across border security, inspection of documents, and interaction with individuals to uphold immigration and customs laws.

Qualifications

• One year general work experience demonstrating ability to take charge, make sound decisions, and maintain composure in stressful situations.
• Bachelor's degree or successful completion of a full four-year course of study in any field leading to a bachelor's degree.
• Combination of general work experience AND college education as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Detect and question individuals suspected of violating immigration and customs laws and inspect documents.
• Patrol borders using vehicles, horses, vessels, and other assets.
• Interpret evidence of illegal entry and unlawful activity; conduct checks and inspections.
• Perform farm, building, traffic, city, and transportation checks.
• Maintain surveillance and respond to incidents to support CBP mission.
