U.S. Customs and Border Protection seeks Border Patrol Agents (BPAs) to join a large federal agency protecting the United States. Roles include inspecting documents, questioning individuals, and patrolling borders using diverse assets.

Qualifications

• One year of general work experience or education that shows ability to learn regulations and work under stress.
• A bachelor's degree or successful completion of a full four-year course of study.
• A combination of general work experience and college education may qualify.

Responsabilités

• Detect and question individuals suspected of immigration and customs violations and inspect documents.
• Prevent and apprehend undocumented noncitizens and smugglers near borders using surveillance.
• Interpret tracks and evidence of illegal entry and contraband.
• Perform farm, building, traffic, city, and transportation checks during patrols.
• Patrol international boundaries and coastal waterways using various assets to fulfill CBP missions.
