Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is hiring Border Patrol Agents in the United States. BPAs serve in the Federal Law Enforcement Officer profession with base pay, comprehensive benefits, and job stability. Incentives include recruitment and retention bonuses.

Positions span multiple duty locations across the country with potential relocation to prioritized sites. Training at the Border Patrol Academy prepares officers for immigration, nationality law, and enforcement operations.

Qualifications

• One year of general work experience demonstrating the ability to take charge, make sound decisions, and remain calm under pressure.
• A bachelor's degree or completion of a full four-year course of study from an accredited college or university.
• A combination of general work experience and college education as applicable.

Responsabilités

• Detect and question individuals suspected of immigration and customs violations and inspect documents.
• Prevent undocumented noncitizens and smugglers near borders using surveillance and covert methods.
• Interpret and follow tracks and evidence of illegal entry or contraband.
• Perform farm, building, traffic, city, and transportation checks.
• Patrol international boundaries and coastal areas using varied government assets.
