PCiRoads in Kansas seeks an experienced Boom Truck Operator to safely operate cranes and heavy equipment for road construction and utilities projects.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
  • General knowledge of heavy highway construction industry.
  • General knowledge of heavy equipment operation.

Responsibilities

  • Operate boom truck/crane to lift and place materials, often in tight spaces.
  • Perform daily pre- and post-operation inspections of truck and rigging gear.
  • Secure loads properly using rigging techniques for hoisting.
  • Read load charts and follow site supervisor instructions for precise placement.
  • Maintain CDL logs and comply with OSHA/DOT and company policies.
  • Work in a seasonal construction environment with exposure to weather and noise.
