Job summary

Kempsville Building Materials is hiring Boom Truck Operators to deliver building materials to local jobsites. You will operate a boom truck, unload and place materials, and ensure deliveries are safe and on schedule.

Full-time role with Mon-Fri work, pay based on experience. Join a growing company that values people and internal growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Previous delivery experience, preferably with building materials.
• Experience operating a boom truck or crane-equipped vehicle.
• Ability to load, unload, and place materials using boom equipment.
• An acceptable driving record and a current CDL license (Class A preferred).
• Ability to be a team player; Mon-Fri schedule.

Responsibilities

• Transport and deliver building materials to local jobsites in a safe and timely manner.
• Operate a boom truck to unload and place materials with precision.
• Maintain daily delivery schedules and provide friendly customer service.
• Adhere to all DOT and company safety regulations.

Description

As one of our Boom Truck Operators, you will be responsible for transporting and delivering building materials to local customer jobsites in a safe and timely manner using our well-maintained, company-owned fleet. You will operate a boom truck to unload and place materials in precise locations on residential and commercial jobsites while ensuring all deliveries are completed efficiently and safely. You will maintain daily delivery schedules while providing friendly, professional customer service and adhering to all DOT and company safety regulations.

Requirements

• Previous delivery experience, preferably with building materials
• Experience operating a boom truck or crane-equipped vehicle preferred
• Ability to safely load, unload, and place materials using boom equipment
• An acceptable driving record and a current CDL license (Class A preferred)
• Ability to be a team player
