Advisors Excel is seeking a Books Program Writer to guide financial professionals through the publishing process from draft to print. If you love words, precision, and helping authors present expert knowledge, this role may be for you.

You’ll manage client communications, edit manuscripts for consistency, format interiors in Word or InDesign, and ensure content meets industry standards. Familiarity with Amazon KDP and project management tools is a plus, with opportunities for growth and ongoing

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of writing or editing experience.
• Exceptional attention to detail with strong grammar and proofreading.
• Experience managing multiple projects and deadlines in a PM system.
• Working knowledge of Word and InDesign; pagination/layout is a plus.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Comfort with new technology and AI tools; eager to learn.
• Familiarity with Amazon KDP or similar platforms.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact for clients through all book publishing phases.
• Provide proactive, high-quality client service from production to promotion.
• Edit and proof manuscripts for grammar, punctuation, consistency, and flow.
• Review and format interiors in Word and/or InDesign for publication readiness.
• Collaborate with compliance reviewers to align content with industry standards.
• Upload finalized books to Amazon KDP for distribution.
• Manage project timelines and updates in the PM system.
• Stay familiar with financial terminology and industry trends.
• Support teammates and take on publishing-related tasks as needed.
