KnowledgeWorks Global Ltd seeks a Project Manager, Books, to guide publications from manuscript through production to final print-ready and digital deliveries.

You will collaborate with publishers, authors, editorial professionals, and production teams to maintain schedules, workflows, and communications throughout the publishing process. This role suits someone with detail-oriented, fast-paced PM experience in publishing.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of editorial project management experience.
• In-depth understanding of the publishing production process.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to follow directions, exercise good judgment, and maintain attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsabilités

• Manages publications from manuscript through production to final print-ready and digital deliveries.
• Creates and tracks schedules for multiple titles and stages.
• Reviews copyedited manuscripts and submits corrections.
• Communicates with publishers, authors, editors, and production teams.
• Creates weekly status reports with schedule updates and revised dates.
• Coordinates art logs, book maps, and file management.
• Leads preplanning, design reviews, and launch/status meetings.
• Maintains clear communication across all production stakeholders.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
