Goodwill Southwest Florida is seeking a Retail Book Specialist to support the Books and Media department across its stores and warehouse operations. You will sort, price, and organize books and media while maintaining well-stocked, clean, and customer-friendly shelves.

The role requires strong knowledge of books, ability to work independently, and a willingness to provide excellent customer service. You may lift up to 40 pounds and work a flexible schedule.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Retail experience preferred, particularly experience working with books.
• In-depth knowledge of book and media categories.
• Knowledge of best-selling authors.
• Ability to use a computer for research purposes.
• Ability to work independently with little or no supervision.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to bend, kneel, push, and pull.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.

Aufgaben

• Sort books and media according to established criteria and department guidelines.
• Price books and media products appropriately to support sales and inventory goals.
• Perform regular inventory pulls to keep merchandise fresh and maintain product rotation.
• Work with other departments and team members to ensure an adequate supply of books and media inventory.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked Books and Media department.
• Provide excellent customer service to customers and team members.
• Follow all company policies and procedures related to the position.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
