Job summary

Xtend, Inc. seeks an Operations Coordinator for our Bookkeeping Team to oversee day-to-day accounting operations supporting credit unions nationwide. You will coach teammates, resolve complex reconciliation issues, and ensure timely processing while maintaining service excellence.

Ideal candidate has 2+ years in bookkeeping or financial operations, an associate degree, and strong ledger balancing skills. You will partner with staff to improve processes and document procedures.

Qualifications

• Two+ years of bookkeeping, accounting, or financial operations experience.
• Associate degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• Strong understanding of general ledger balancing and reconciliations.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to coach and support teammates and lead others.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily accounting operations for assigned credit union clients.
• Monitor workloads and ensure daily and month-end deadlines are met.
• Review general ledger balancing, exception processing, and reconciliation activities for accuracy.
• Conduct quality assurance audits of end-of-day and end-of-month processing.
• Assist with training, coaching, and development of Accounting Operations Specialists.
• Serve as escalation point for complex balancing and reconciliation issues.
• Respond to client questions and resolve issues through Zendesk.
• Help maintain operational procedures, documentation, and processing guides.
• Support staffing coverage and provide hands-on accounting assistance when needed.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance service quality.
