Job summary

Fiber Network Services is a communications contractor providing fiber optic and cable network services across multiple states. We seek a well-organized Bookkeeper to support our corporate accounting team in Manassas, VA.

The role focuses on expense tracking, QuickBooks transaction classification, license renewals, and AP/AR support in a fast-paced environment with hands-on mentorship and growth within accounting and finance.

Qualifications

• Experience with QuickBooks is a must.
• Experience with business license renewal is a must.
• Degree in Accounting and/or bookkeeping experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Responsibilities

• Collect expense reports from office managers and track those expenses.
• Assist with classifying bank transactions in QuickBooks Online.
• Handle the business license renewals.
• Assist with the general support for AP and AR.
• Other accounting tasks as needed.
