Job summary

H&R Block is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper in Saline, MI to manage bookkeeping, payroll and client service for our local clients. You will post transactions, reconcile ledgers, prepare payroll, generate statements and support client retention while maintaining confidentiality and applying GAAP.

• Reconcile and balance accounts.
• Generate and analyze financial statements.
• Prepare and process payroll.
• Generate 1099s and W2s and calculate and prepare tax statements.
• Communicate with clients, client suppliers, vendors and banking contacts.
• Assist in client retention and client growth opportunities.
