H&R Block is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to deliver accurate bookkeeping, payroll, and client service. You will manage ledgers, reconcile accounts, and prepare payroll and tax statements with attention to confidentiality.

You will engage with clients, suppliers, and banks to support financial clarity and growth opportunities while upholding our standards of service and integrity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• National bookkeeping and payroll certifications or ability to obtain them.
• 1–3 years of bookkeeping experience.
• Knowledge of GAAP and accounting procedures.

Responsabilités

• Post financial transactions into subsidiary books and general ledgers.
• Reconcile and balance accounts.
• Generate and analyze financial statements.
• Prepare and process payroll.
• Generate 1099s and W2s and prepare tax statements.
• Communicate with clients, suppliers, vendors and banking contacts.
• Assist in client retention and growth opportunities.
