GEO Secured Services is seeking a diligent Bookkeeper to handle cash control, payroll (including inmate payroll where applicable), accounts payable and receivable, and related financial reporting. You will apply GEO policy to ensure accurate and timely processing of all financial transactions.

The role requires familiarity with standard bookkeeping practices, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work with multiple data sources.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred.
• Two years in an accounting-related capacity.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Working knowledge of office equipment and basic clerical tasks.
• Familiarity with accounting policies and procedures is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Processes accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Manages payroll for employees and inmates where applicable.
• Performs bank deposits and regular balance checks.
• Develops and submits reports for accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and inmate accounts.
• Assists in month-end closing, forecasting, and budgeting.
• Oversees receptionist/admin clerk as needed.
• Maintains inventory accuracy in warehouse and storage areas.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
