Ministry Admins is seekingan experienced remote bookkeeper with expertise in QuickBooks Online (QBO) to join our team. This position offers the flexibility of remote work while providing essential financial support to churches across the country.

The ideal candidate has a heart for the local church and is a self-starter, able to attend to their workloads efficiently, and manage multiple projects at the same time. Experience in the following areas will be most beneficial:
- 3+ years of bookkeeping experience using QuickBooks Online
- Demonstrated experience working with churches or non-profitorganizations
- Strong understanding of fund accounting principles
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple clients simultaneously
- Proficiency with Google workspace andMicrosoft Office suite, particularly Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to explain financial concepts to non-financial staff
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for multiple church clients using QuickBooks Online
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Reconcile bank and credit card accounts monthly
- Assist with third party and native QBO payroll processing and reporting as needed
- Prepare monthly financial statements and reports for church leadership and boards
- Track designated funds, restricted donations, and special offerings
- Support churches during annual financial reviews or audits
- Maintain organized digital records of all financial transactions
- Communicate as needed with church staff regarding financial matters, answering questions and providing data needed.
Ministry Admins are supported by lead remote assistants and training is available. The work of a virtual ministry assistant is completed remotely, with the potential to work up to 30 hours per week (max). Ministry Admins must have consistent access to the following tools:
- Reliable high-speed internet connection
- Personal computer with current operating system
- Secure home office environment to maintain confidentiality of financial information
