OMEGA CONTRACTING LLC is seeking a meticulous Bookkeeper to partner with the CFO to maintain precise financial records and ensure regulatory compliance. You will record and verify transactions, bring the books to trial balance, and assist with tax form preparation in a detail-oriented, organized environment.

The ideal candidate has strong accounting knowledge, proficiency with Excel and QuickBooks Online, and solid time management and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field required.
• GAAP knowledge and solid understanding of financial statements.
• Proficient with Excel, QuickBooks Online and basic accounting systems.

Responsibilities

• Enter financial data and transactions accurately.
• Verify the accuracy of entered transactions.
• Prepare trial balance and reconcile accounts.
• Analyze budgets and other financial information.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Complete required tax forms in a timely manner.
