ShopRite of Brookside Plaza in Enfield, CT is seeking a Bookkeeper to manage daily cash handling, deposits, and store sales reporting. You will balance drawers, process transactions, and ensure security procedures are followed.

The role requires reading, writing and speaking English, basic math, physical stamina, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs; prior cash-handling and customer-service experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak, analyze, interpret, and understand the English language.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Ability to stand/walk for the duration of a scheduled shift.
• Ability to lift 25–50 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Record store sales and hourly readings.
• Balance drawers daily; report discrepancies.
• Handle tender, deposits, and cash room procedures.
• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
