ShopRite of Brookside Plaza in Enfield, CT, is hiring for a Night Crew Clerk. The role involves unloading deliveries, stocking the Grocery Department, and ensuring a clean, well-presented area. You will interact with customers, follow safety rules, and work with teammates to maintain efficiency and service quality.

The position requires basic math, good English communication, and the ability to stand for long shifts while occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs. Training and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak, analyze, interpret and understand English.
• Basic math skills required for handling prices and counts.
• Stand/walk for entire shift; lift up to 25 lbs routinely and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Interact with customers in a friendly, helpful manner.
• Work cooperatively with others and adhere to schedules and attendance policies.

Responsibilities

• Unload and process deliveries for the Grocery Department.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and visually appealing department area.
• Assist with stocking, price marking, and restocking products.
• Follow safe procedures for receiving, storing, and handling goods.
• Operate equipment per safety guidelines and company policy.
• Provide prompt, courteous service to customers and observe safety rules.
