Qualifications

• 2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting preferred.
• Experience working in a financial accounting software required; QuickBooks Online preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite, especially a proficiency in Excel.

Responsibilities

• The Bookkeeper will join the Sr. Director of Finance as part of the organization's accounting, finance, and business administration function.
• Assist in month-end closing procedures.
• Help with accounting entries.
• Manage outsourced accounts payable.
• Contact vendors.
• Assist with fixed asset schedules.
• Provide other financial duties.
• Offer administrative support to the Sr. Director of Finance.
• Serve as a helpful accounting internal resource to staff.
• Perform other administrative tasks as needed to support the organization's operations.
