As a Bookkeeper, you will reconcile cash drawers, prepare bank deposits, and manage petty cash accounts. This role blends quiet office focus with high-stakes financial responsibility. Comprehensive Responsibilities
• Till Management: Issue starting cash funds to front-end cashiers, and count down their drawers at the end of their shifts to ensure perfect balance.
• Banking Operations: Prepare and verify daily secure bank deposits, coordinating with armored car services for safe and timely pickups.
• Petty Cash & Expenses: Manage the store's petty cash fund, reimbursing associates for approved small store purchases and maintaining receipts.
• Discrepancy Investigation: Research instances of cash over/short, reviewing register journals and CCTV footage to identify the source of the error.
