Job summary

Horizon House in Seattle is seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to support day-to-day financial operations. You will maintain accurate financial records, process transactions, and support accounts payable and receivable activities.

The role follows a regular Monday–Friday schedule, 8:00am to 4:30pm, with a starting pay range of $24.50 to $27.35 per hour. You’ll ensure timely processing, reconciliations, and compliance while helping improve workflows.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable, and reconciliations.
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and reconciliation processes.
• Proficiency with accounting software and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable transactions and maintain financial records.
• Support accounts receivable functions and ensure timely processing.
• Record transactions, prepare reconciliations, and assist reporting schedules.
• Coordinate with vendors and team members on invoice and payment questions.
• Assist with regulatory and tax documentation and internal controls.
