JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, performing reconciliations, and assisting in the preparation of financial reports. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has a passion for numbers, organization and its fully remote!

Processing of Accounts Payable, including the following:

• Vendor setup and maintenance, including W-9 management.
• Coding and posting invoices
• Obtaining management approvals on invoices
• Review and enter travel and entertainment reports.
• Manage and post American Express expenses
• Review and process retail store petty cash reports.
• Generate annual 1099’s

Processing of Accounts Receivable, including the following:

• Working with 3rd party collection firm on customer accounts and reconciliation
• Apply payments to customer accounts in RLM
• Documenting all Department Store Chargebacks, working closely with the Wholesale Sales Department to identify and record all credits and adjustments to customer accounts on a timely basis.

Monthly account reconciliations:

• Prepare monthly reconciliations for bank accounts, accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Assist Controller on month end Journal Entries

KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS:

• 3 + years’ experience working in an Accounting Department.
• Experience as Bookkeeper, with specific knowledge of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
• Effective organization skills and strong attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience with SAP or similar Financial System is a big plus.
