Under the supervision of the Accounting Area Supervisor, and in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and practices, the bookkeeper will assist the accountants in the recording, reconciling and auditing of accounting data, the processing of financial transactions and the closing of program accounts.
Candidates must possess either an Associates or Bachelor’s degree in accounting from a recognized institution or possess an accounting certificate with three years’ work experience. Candidates should be self-motivated, independently prioritizing work and meeting deadlines. They must be proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook, have a positive attitude, foster strong relationships with their peers, pay attention to detail and understand the components of financial reporting.
