Job summary

Bloomberg Television is seeking a highly motivated Booking Producer to join our flagship morning program. You will be responsible for booking newsmakers and top guests on market-moving stories, and supporting the live control room.

You should have a broad interest in global news with a focus on finance and the economy, and thrive in a fast-paced newsroom where decisions are made quickly and communication is clear across a global team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• At least 3-5 years of experience producing for live TV.
• Knowledge of business news and the financial markets.
• Problem solving skills, with the ability to work under deadline pressure
• Flexibility with hours

Responsibilities

• Book guests for a daily show that covers the top market-moving stories
• Be proactive - pitch ideas, be creative, bring your expertise to the table and elevate our content
• Pitch newsmakers and stories
• Develop relationships within the business, finance communities globally
• Work closely with the other producers and talent
• Work well under pressure in a fast-paced newsroom environment
• Be able to pivot and react as news events evolve

You will be responsible for: booking newsmakers and top guests on market-moving stories, taking the initiative on fining appropriate voices on breaking news under deadline pressure. You'll help to greet guests and support the live control room.

You should have a broad interest in global news with a focus on finance and the economy.

YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE:

Salary Range = 85,000-110,000 USD Annual+ Benefits + Bonus

The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
