Job summary

CIBC US is seeking a Booking Analyst Team Lead for the Loan Operations Team in Chicago. You will lead a group responsible for closing, analyzing, booking, and servicing small to mid-size loans, serving as SMEs on loan system inputs and servicing requirements.

This hybrid role requires 2-3 days on-site with some remote work. Your team will interpret loan documents, set up customer and loan data in the system, perform updates, and manage inquiries.

Qualifications

  • Review and understand loan documents such as notes or credit agreements for new, renewed, and modified loans.
  • Accurately set up customer, facility, and loan information in the loan system for new or existing deals.
  • Perform system updates related to quality control corrections and client requests (rate changes, payment instructions, regulatory codes).
  • Research and respond to internal and client-related loan inquiries.
  • Assist with miscellaneous tasks related to other departmental projects and initiatives.

As a Booking Analyst Team Lead on the Loan Operations Team, you'll play a key role in closing, analyzing, booking, and servicing small to mid-size commercial and consumer loans. You and your team will act as the subject matter experts on loan system requirements for entering and servicing customer, commitment, and loan information.

At CIBC, we offer a competitive total rewards package. This role has an expected salary range of $85,000 - 88,000 for the market based on experience, qualifications, and location of the position. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit's incentive compensation plan, which may also include a discretionary bonus component.
