We provide holistic financial education, cash flow management, and investment planning designed specifically for the athletic lifestyle. We're seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day financial operations and ensure accuracy across client and company accounts.
Position Summary
The Bookkeeper plays a critical role in supporting the firm’s internal financial systems and client account tracking. You will work closely with our advisors and operations team to keep accurate records, manage invoicing, and provide essential financial data that helps our athlete-clients make informed decisions.
Key Responsibilities
·- Maintain and reconcile the firm's general ledger and internal financial records
·- Support client account tracking, including budget updates, income/endorsement monitoring, and expense categorization
·- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and client-specific transactions
·- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage client invoicing and retainer tracking
·- Prepare monthly financial reports for internal review
·- Assist with payroll and benefits tracking for firm staff and contractors
·- Ensure athlete-clients’ financial records are organized for year-end tax filing
·- Communicate with CPAs and tax professionals to ensure smooth coordination
·- Support onboarding of new athlete clients by setting up accounting systems and tracking tools
·- Maintain confidentiality and sensitivity around client earnings and personal data
Qualifications
·- 2+ years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in financial services or working with high-net-worth individuals
·- Proficiency with QuickBooks Online (required); experience with financial CRMs or athlete-specific tools is a plus
·- Strong attention to detail, especially in managing multiple client accounts simultaneously
·- Understanding of cash flow dynamics for athletes (e.g., seasonal income, NIL deals, endorsements) is a strong plus
·- High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism
·- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and communicate proactively
·- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
