Job summary

Brodart Co. is seeking a material handler to support the Books Production area. The role involves packing materials for shipment, selecting carton sizes, and ensuring products are protected during transport.

You will enter order fulfillment data in SCS and Oracle, process labels, and follow verbal and written instructions while maintaining a safe, clean work environment. Overtime may be required as production needs dictate.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to read and understand filling conventions, write and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Able to stand 8-hour shifts and lift up to 70 lbs occasionally and push book trucks.

Responsibilities

• Pack materials for shipment in appropriate containers and determine carton size.
• Enter order and fulfillment data into SCS and Oracle and process labels.
• Perform other duties as required by supervision and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Cross-train and substitute tasks as needed by supervision.
• Adhere to Brodart rules, policies and safety standards.
