Job summary

Brodart Co. in Williamsport, PA is seeking a Material Handler II for the 2nd shift to manage the buffer area, move materials to trucks, and release completed orders to the take-away conveyor.

You will record order status in the Book Order Control System and Oracle, investigate discrepancies, and maintain a safe, clean workstation. Responsibilities include entering data in SCS and Oracle, floating between zones as workload requires, and overtime as production needs demand.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to read, write and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Experience with material handling and ability to adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Buffer area flow and prevent overcrowding.
• Transfer materials in totes to trucks and stage in buffer area.
• Release completed orders to the take-away conveyor.
• Record book order status in Book Order Control System and Oracle.
• Investigate discrepancies using Oracle and SCS information.
• Be the point of contact for special handling requests as needed.
• Enter information into SCS and Oracle for order fulfillment.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness and organization in the work area.
• Float between zones as workload requires and work overtime when needed.
